Ukrainian Media League invites you to join the media hackathon aimed at analyzing benchmarks, finding insights and solutions of disinformation, held by the international technological organization SocialBoost and impact tech accelerator 1991.

The three-day 1991 Hackathon: Media focuses on finding digital solutions to fight disinformation, data analysis and cyber hygiene.

Participation is free.

The event will be held online and offline on January 20-22, 2023. The offline part will be held at Google Campus in Warsaw, Poland. The hackathon will be preceded by a mini-conference. With the support of the government, international donors and IT companies, the winning teams will receive an opportunity for further development — mentoring support for one month after the end of the hackathon.

In addition, the leading group of speakers of the hackathon will announce the launch of the European Ukrainian Digital Network, the purpose of which is to unite technical specialists from Ukraine and Europe who live in the EU today.

SocialBoost is an international organization that brings together the startup community and technical expertise with governments and civil society to solve problems in developing economies. SocialBoost builds and educates a community of startups, small and medium enterprises, and develops its own IT products for effective governance and democracy.

1991 Accelerator is the flagship project of SocialBoost NGO, the first and largest pipeline accelerator in Ukraine with a focus on impact tech.
