Risk Management Specialist

Oleksandr Karapetyan is a highly skilled Ukrainian lawyer with over 15 years of experience in corporate law, risk management strategy, and legal consulting for businesses. He specializes in the creation and support of complex corporate structures, the management of transnational deals, and providing legal advice in the field of risk management, enabling companies to successfully operate in the face of global competition and diverse regulatory challenges.

Since 2018, Oleksandr Karapetyan has been engaged in consulting, providing legal support to both foreign and Ukrainian companies, particularly in areas such as business restructuring, corporate process optimization, and the support of M&A deals and investment projects. Thanks to his expertise, companies operating in various jurisdictions, including the EU and the US, receive effective strategies to adapt to legal and regulatory requirements, allowing them not only to reduce legal and financial risks but also to attract strategic investments.

In particular, among Oleksandr Karapetyan’s core competencies are legal audits, due diligence, business process optimization, and in-depth interaction with state authorities to ensure full legal compliance and transparency in the clients’ operations.

Since 2021, Oleksandr has been involved in the creation and development of the Ukrainian Media League (UML), where he actively works on implementing initiatives aimed at the development of the media industry, human rights protection, and media literacy. Oleksandr develops strategies that help businesses and civil society adapt to new challenges in digital technologies and communications, as well as promote positive legal practices.

His activities include supporting educational and cultural initiatives, defending the rights of national minorities, and supporting the development of civil society through collaboration with international and Ukrainian organizations.

Prior to this, Oleksandr held key legal positions at organizations such as UMH Group, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, where he was responsible for strategic legal management, drafting important regulatory acts, and supporting major corporate transactions. In these roles, he demonstrated a high level of managerial skills, particularly in interacting with regulatory bodies and providing legal support to businesses at the national level.
